I will not mention the name, really don't need to. Anyone looking at the user comments can see for themselves, but the language used by a member of this DB is absolutely disgusting. It shouldn't be allowed. The comments by this person should be deleted and they should be banned from this site if they continue to use such language. I am not a prude by any means but this person is utterly disgusting and vulgar.

Brady Bee, I've never looked at User Comments before and frankly, I'm shocked... really shocked.  This guy asked for comments on his dog and yes, he had a very few that were complimentary... clearly not breed wise people!

I also got some abuse (and I gave a little back) when I gave my honest opinion, as requested, on his dog.  The language and abuse directed towards Funky Munky for sharing her opinion is totally unacceptable.

We can all have little spats, sulks and tantrums but this is not... well... normal. 

Who monitors the postings?

Perhaps the best way of handling individuals like this is to completely ignore them - never respond in any way to anything they post. "Send them to Coventry" - to use an old English expression......obviously these comments are meant to be inflammatory, and will likely escalate if we keep feeding into them.

AnjaBlue, You're right of course... we did try to ignore and failed LOL but I think maybe that's the way to go.  However, I don't think he (is it a man?) should get off totally scot free... does nobody "police" the postings?

Oli probably just doesn't have the time to "police" all comments on this board - we can't really "punish" this person from a distance except to not give him/her one second of our valuable time. People, like dogs, don't like being ignored, and this might be the most powerful tool we have.

im guessing this person erased their comments.  looks like a one way conversation now.  that is if im looking at the right dog

I have just checked, and yes they have been deleted by aristianM. If he/she thinks for one minute that they have been deleted before anyone saw them, then he/she is sadly mistaken. 

I pm'd Oli some time ago about the comments made to me,since i do not think artisianM can delete them himself,i can only assume it was Oli. If that was the case i thank him very much,as the language used was disgusting to say the least. I can give as good as i get,but these comments could be read by anyone,any age and that is not right. I have several pm's in the same tone from this creep,but i blocked him,so he then put his comments on to the public board. This is not the place for that kind of language,so i am very happy to see they have been deleted. I will in future try to ignore him,but my Scottish blood makes that kinda difficult, LOL, liz
