Here we go again with the same old we heard when Vick got busted. Poor underpriviledged millionaires. My heart just breaks for them. I can't wait to read all the blogs about - so what, it was only dogs....dog fighting is a cultural thing.....they were HIS dogs.....it's not like it was kids. Sadly this is not DMX's first encounter with the law or the first time he's been charged with animal abuse. I have to wonder why he was even allowed to own more dogs. Oh, that's right, this is the US where the lawbreakers are celebrities and the law abiding citizens can't afford gas or food. I wonder if anyone will be rapping about that.

This is not the rich, this is local downtown street punks imitating their idols. Shit flows down hill.

Blitzen- I wondered why he was allowed to own dogs after the first incident also....I can't imagine they won't enforce it this time. You'd of thought when they made an example out of Vick that would have been enough but I guess some people don't get it.

Whoever left the above comment, has their Kennedy's mixed up. I believe they are referring to Ted Kennedy, and not Robert.

It is becoming a big thing to become a celebrity and do what ever you feel good doing and if you make big money doing it....more limelight in the News Media.... the new world is ushering in Celebrities being made out of Politicians and their scandelous living and affairs and scams involved in their life. and the more bad the Hollywood stars do the more their limelight days gleam....instead of when I was a girl growing up,,,we shunned those kinds of people and their acts and deeds...
A big sign of the Times.....

There is no such thing as shame anymore. It used to be that people would feel shame for immoral acts and feel compelled to change their ways. The fact that the making of babies and the raising of them no longer requires males and females of a certain age to be married to each other, is just one example of this. The stealing and killing of pets for greed or sport would certainly be another example.
Having wealth and celebrity is not really an indicator of immorality or a character lacking in empathy, it just makes a more interesting story for the media, which is fed by all of us.
Having no money nor celebrity does not guarantee a healthy respect of life or empathy for others. It is a certain lack of character, and personal honor that allows one to justify selfishness in any of its outward manifestations.
IMHO, that is.

Yellow Rose: Please elaborate on what you meant when you said: I'm not clear on your point.
"IF YOU THINK THE RACE CARD IS TIRING NOW JUST GET READY .....YOU BETTER THINK TWICE IN NOVEMBER.,,,,,"

Goodness gracious: Surely Sueincc knows when the political gauntlet has been thrown. YR was meaning to be political. I don't really care, because when you are looking up from the bottom of the barrel, the sky is surely blue!
if anyone wants to take a bet for a bag of quality, or no corn in dog food, I have maintained the opinion that if Hillary wins the Democratic nomination, then McCain will win the presidency. So, if you really hate Republicans, Obama is your man!

Race? Very interesting coming from dog folk who say color means nothing regarding a dogs abilities. I been listening to the same pack of dogs barking at the moon for the last almost twenty years, I'm ready for a new tune aren't you?
by Two Moons on 11 May 2008 - 03:08
You are very wise.. I must agree with you completely.
I also believe that nothing will change for the better until the system is changed and laws are enforced. End the raping of our country by those who think they are above the law. Make everyone pay their fair share from the most wealthy to the non-citizen. Its been business as usual so far, now let someone else have a shot at it. Or we could all get off our arse's and go to the streets like the rest of the world has to do.

And the point being what? What goes around comes around? We should feel good about this? He probably has a family that is devastated. Afterall, the accused are entitled to representation. Wouldn't you want it that way if you were facing a judge?
by Abhay on 11 May 2008 - 04:36
There is no point. It is what it is. No one is making a judgement. I just posted the news about dogfighting going across the net.
