another interesting is Chris Wallace interview with Putin, even though Putin I think is evil to the core. Wallace asks Putin if they have something on Trump to blackmail him.

Putin says, to paraphrase, "why would we. Trump ran hotels and a beauty pageant. we had no idea he would be president. he was just another rich man in a country full of rich men. we don't have the resources to follow them all and he was of no interest to us." have to take that for what it is worth, but it makes sense.

Rik, I believe Putin a lot more than the Chris wallaces in this country.

yea, I was just about to edit to say the same thing. Wallace is obviously trying to get the dirt on Trump. what is worth seeing is how wallace starts his usual shit trying to tell Putin what he wants to hear him say.

Putin shuts him down pretty quick. that guy is dangerous and wallace figures out pretty quick he's not in the U.S. anymore.

Too bad Putin didn't " detain" Wallace.

Putin was the head of the KGB for years, one of the most ruthless organizations in the world.

He is very intelligent. I've seen him interviewed before, he has surprisingly been very candid and seemingly honest on a lot of subjects. He has always been interesting to listen too.

I'm sure there are some subjects you wouldn't want to discuss with him though.

Wallace should just go to work for CNN, that's where he belongs.

another very interesting comment he made in a different interview was about U.S. Presidents. he has interacted with 5 different ones. to paraphrase again he said

"U.S. presidents don't run the U.S. Men in dark suits do."

He gave as an example Obama campaign promises to shut down Guantanamo. He said Obama took office and a couple days later the men in dark suits show up and tell him how it is really going to be. and that was the end of that discussion.
