I am looking for a BBS with three generations of FCI registered BBS behind it to import to Australia. Can anyone help?

I think it is still impossible, because the white Shepherd is since 1.1.2003 FCI-recognised

as seperate race named "BBS", and it is not possible to breed 3 Generations "BBS" in only 4 years.

The years before the name from race was only "White Shepherd" or "American Canadian white Shepherd",

not BBS .

it is possible...there are a lot of dogs that already have 3 generation of bbs in the pedigree...it all dipends on what kind of dog you are looking after and from which country

Are I'am wrong, please check it out if Iam right or wrong.

For examble:

We need 3 Generations as "Berger Blanc Suisse".

1. Generation ( the Grand Grand Parents)

have to be registered as Berger Blance, the registration was possible in age of 15 month,

earlyest in 1.1.2003.

We need 4 Grand Grand Parents that was registered as a Berger Blanc Suisse in January 2003.

Next  2.Generation (the children of them, in pedigree the grandparents), born earlyest February 2003.

Next 3.Generation, (parents) born October 2004.  Breed them and puppys that was aked from Australia,

the 4. Generation they need, was  born April 2006.

We know the problems about inbreedings in Eruope, to bring good white ones together, I think it do not work,

to find a pedigree with 3 Generation "Berger Blanc Suisse". We can not select mates only for a "chanced race-name".

If you know a litter with 3 Generations BBS please let me know as a examble the name from this combination.

In past any countrys had have a "national" (note, not international FCI - ) recognition. Thats not the same I think,

the national recognised white Shepherds was not  named as "Berger Blanc's " in past  . Dont you think ?

It's possible because many registries recognized their foundation stock of white shepherds as Berger Blanc Suisse.  I have a full three generations on one side of my pups pedigree...just not the other....but yes, it is possible.

Hi There,

Depends on where the dog is from, some countries like Holland and Switzerland registred the dogs long before the FCI recognition and there kennel club accepted it and confirmed it into the FCI. weird but true and all other countries will accept it because it is FCI.

I have one adult female here 3 gen. on her pedigree, and I might consider selling her, she has hipresults by the FCI and done several shows with excellent even best Bitch, now 4 years old.

Are those 3 generations also with FCI registrationnumbers?

In the Netherlands they fill out the names on the pedigree but with no registrationnumber (FCI) and with the explanation NIET GEVERIFIEERD (menings not FCI registration of that dog)

When there is one dog in the 3 generation who has not a FCI registration number than other country''s don''t accept that as a full registration.
