What do you guys think of her? This isn't my dog, but for some reason I think she is really striking. And look at those eyes! Are they blue?

She is a nice looking dog .Blue eyes should not be unless she is a dilute .Great face and head ,i like the ear set ,nice heavy bones.I love the coat on it. BUT im no expert on conformation .i do like a nice back and hind legs on a dog and I think she has it.

I think that she is one of the ugliest German Shepherds I have ever seen.
Her head is all out of proportion and the fore face is too narrow, Fore legs too short.
And those eyes do not belong on a German Shepherd

Sorry.

I agree!!! Very, very ugly dog. Whoever says this is a nice looking German Shepherd has no notion of the breed!!

I am afraid I have to agree with the last two postings.
It reminds me of a Sloth Bear.

Hey, this dog has no roach back! Do you know where a dogs back starts and ends??? This dog is high at his widthers.
This dog is not a hock walker, her hind angulations are normal!!! You should learn more about the shepherds conformation bevor judging other dogs!!!!

You guys are out of your senses. This is a 4 month old puppy! And because of her longer coat she looks even more out of proportion. Overall she is nice looking with a decent conformation. The only major structural faults I see at the moment are a steep croup and a steep upper arm. Her head is typical of a female that age, just looks different because of the coat. The angle of the pic is not the best. She is looking directly into the sun, this and the wrong angle are making her eyes look much lighter because of the reflection of the retina. Same for her ears, they appear rounded because of how the camera makes a 2D picture of it. To judge everything else one needs to wait out the growth spurts and get their hands on her!

And pic #2 has a broken back line, does NOT have high withers, the shoulder blade is overly angulated, and she is missing out in the hind angulation.

Personally, I don't like the looks of the first dog....doesn't look purebred.    I also don't like the roach back of the second dog...but would prefer the second to the first.

Good looking girl. LC always look weired when they young. She will make a good pet. SL people and their notion of good correct looking dogs LMAO, maybe that is why their dogs can't scale 6ft wall. lol But they can throat lolzzz in a circle.

I doubt I will ever get over how mean people can be on here. I figure there are just some who can not state an opinion without being cruel.  She is a cute fluffy PUP.   As far as all the technical stuff I could not say.  May not be the coat / body that I would pick but a cute fluffy little biscuit eater all the same.   Hope she has a happy home.

Its a young Dog and has to grow, Plus it does not know what it looks like
The many negative comments on here are why i think a lot of Dogs finish up Homeless, everyone wants perfect comformation this and that, The Dog is what it is and deseves the best of everything just the same as a Champion Show Dog would have nothing less

As the owner of three Long Stock coats, the first picture is a coated dog.  She is a sable and will darken as she gets older, she has nice bone, short upper arm.  Her eye color maybe light or it could be the sun and the angle of the picture.

I would take the first dog and you couldn't give me the second one.

I don't need a perfect dog except in the temperment and nerve department.

Val
