Knockout Flea & Tick Spray (3 replies)
|
|
| Has anyone used this product? I just picked some up. It was recommended by the veterinary dermatologist as an alternative to Frontline Plus. I've never had an issue with the Frontline Plus - I just don't like the greasy slick that it leaves and my female seems to always have some hyperpigmentation in the area that it's applied. Never had a problem with fleas or ticks either - thankfully. |

Good product, has been around a long time, seen no adverse issues. I still like front line better.
Always,

Thanks, Cee.
Do you mind me asking what you like better about Frontline?
I've used Frontline for years with no issues and no fleas. My female has a flea allergy so I'm more than a little hesitant to switch when the Frontline worked fine. It just seems like there are some minor issues at the application site with the hyperpigmentation from the Frontline. It appears that I have to apply the Knockout spray every 10-20 days instead of 1x per month like the Frontline.
We're going hiking tomorrow with the dogs so I'll go ahead and put the Knockout on her before we go. I do like that it also kills ticks as well...just hope it works |

| I use to use the Frontline Plus. Had a problem last year with flies trying to bite at the ears. It was a nightmare. I switched to Advantix had no more problems with the flies going for the ears. It also dried up nice on the back. |
