I cannot remember who suggested Brylee, but that is what we ended up naming the new pup. It really seems to fit so I am pleased. Anyhow, whoever suggest it THANKS and thanks to everyone else for their input as well. We had quite a long list of good names, so that probably added to the indecision. Here are pics of "Brylee" from today. She is now 15 weeks old. Remember, she's showline but she's high drive! I really cannot be more pleased with her drive and her intelligence. She's a good girl.

Very nice pedigree, what made you decide to go that line? Reason I am asking, I too will be looking in the future and have no idea where to start. Love her body and expression and I am sure a wonderful temperament. Of course, conformation is critical also. So to sum in up want it all. Nanci Thanks for the cute pictures. Love her name. |

Sorry for the delay Nans. I did not forget about you, I was just very busy getting ready for a show.
I looked everywhere and anywhere for a pup. I had finally decided to import, but right after deciding this (literally the day after) I saw the ads for these girls. My requirements had been at least one parent titled in Schh, both parents hip certified and good hips in background, and if the dam was not titled, she at least had to come from two titled parents. I also wanted to stick with West German lines. To be honest, I was open to working OR show lines, but had to be high drive. I was leaning toward show lines because I have never owned one and kind of wanted to see what they were like.
Amazingly, the breeder of this pup was only 5 miles away from me and the pup fit my requirements. There were 3 pups left, but only the one had the higher drives, so I bought her.
I searched this site as well as a few others, but this is the site where I found this pup.
All I can say for looking at future dogs is too look anywhere and everywhere and at as many sites as you can. Not all breeders use the same sites. |
