I just recently aquired a female I beleive gold brindle dutch shepherd and don't really know much about them.

What are there tempermentslike hers is good with us but not others?

What colors do they come in?

How do you pick a stud for a dutchy?

I am going to reg her here tomarrow so you can also tell me what you think of her?

They come in a vaiety of colors. Anywhere from fawn brindle to black brindle. Sometimes, even pure black or fawn show up. I have also seen blue (gray)brindles.

Sometimes the dutchies can be aloof, with strangers. They are a herding breed, so that can be expected. Socializtion can help with that alot.

Regarding a stud. I would suggest letting your female mature and learning a lot more about the breed, before you even think of looking for a stud.

Just enjoy your dog. I would suggest taking her to obedience classes. Pick an instructor that uses mainly motivational training with some correction. Good luck!

KIserhof,  you are not telling the truth.  I now noticed this post and 'recently' is not one and a half year ago.   So my advice is you do not breed her as you know nothing about dogs.  Breeding is only meant for those who do their homework and this is not how you do it!

No wonder you are looking for the dogs papers!  That person who sold her to you obviously doesn't want anything to dog with you.  You probably took the dog on false pretence as you posted on the previous post you wanted to do dog activities with her!  You simply and clearly want to be a breeder.    Breeding great dogs is expensive, sir.

And how the hell do you know if this dog is a nice example of a Dutchie?   From a picture where she is sitting down?
