Im glad Oli decided to start adding new breeds to Pedigree Database! I think it is going to be a great learning experience for everyone. I just need a recommendation. Im looking for a new Boxer puppy for my mother. As you know mothers day is coming up and I really think she could use a new "baby" in her life. Im not looking for one by mothers day per say, but mabey in the next few months or so. We have had boxers all our lives and I grew up with them as a child, I dont think there was a time we dident own at least one :). Then my dad brought a German Shepherd into the house, after that I was hooked! German Shepherd is my breed! Ok so back to my post, lol, my moms boxer recently died the day before christmas. His name was Bo Bo, and he was 13yrs old. The day I found out I could barely understand what she was trying to tell me she was crying so much. When she finally got it out, she bascially said that when he woke up that morning, he couldent get up to walk. She of course rushed him to the vet and they couldent figure out what was wrong with him. After 3 days of tests and everything, they bascially said he was "an old dog" and he would never walk again. She decided the best thing to do was to put him down so he could be at peace. She told me that she never, ever wanted another dog so I havent been looking around for one. I recently traveled up to see her and we went shopping at the mall and we past a "puppystore". It just so happens there was a little boxer puppy in the window so she went inside to play with her and started crying, I guess because she missed Bo Bo so much. I explained to her about the puppy mills and the horrible conditions they live in and everything. I now know shes ready for another puppy, but I want to make sure I can find a good breeder. I have a strict criteria when I search for my personal GSD puppies. Like, Sire and Dam must have SchH3 titles be Korklassed and have good hip raitings be of excellent temperment and have nice overall structure. Im thinking of just importing a puppy from Germany, but first I want to see if I can find a reputable breeder here in the US. I am looking for a breeder that breeds predominately European lines, and that trains and titles their own dogs. Or I might consider american show lines as well, but I would REALLY perfer the working type boxer. If you know any breeders that fit this match please post their website here and I will find their contact info from that. Thanks soo much! Andrea :) PS. Sorry for writing a shot story!

Hello Penne,

I took a look at your website, you have some gorgeous dogs!

Oli just started adding new breeds of dogs about a week or so ago, it used to be just a German Shepherd database. Hopefully over time more people will learn about this site and it will open up alot more, and will be as popular as the GSD.

Good Luck with your dogs!
