| Breeders description |
LongFields is the kennel name of Suzanne de Lange-van de Velde. I breed Laekenois once in a while, not more than once every year, mostly less. We live in the Netherlands, not far from the capital of our country, Amsterdam.
Our pups will grow up within our house and I spend a lot of time socializing them, so they get used to all kinds of situations and sounds before they will leave for their new owners. The socializing mainly takes part individually, so the pups cannot hang on to the bravest puppy in the litter while being somewhere for the first time.
The dogs I breed with have been checked at both hips and elbows, with the result HD-A and ED-0.
They will also be checked for their character with the Dutch behaviour test (from our club, the NVBH).
Occasionally I attend dog shows, with until now very satisfactory results.
My goal is to breed healthy and happy dogs with a nice temperament, for all kinds of dog sports but also for people who just want a loyal companion or house pet.
