The short answer is that there is a broad range of normal rise.
Some bitches have a very long proestrus, and you might think something is wrong, but 22 days is pretty close to the center of median.

Since you took down your original post, I can't reply as to that. I used to work at a veterinary clinic that specialized in reproduction and the veterinarian taught me that there is no "normal" range, it is going to be highly dependent on the individual dog, the machine used, last calibration, etc. Your veterinarian should be the person giving guidance on interpreting your dog's individual readings and what to do with that information. You aren't going to find the answer you are looking for on the internet, unfortunately. We wouldn't even accept progesterone readings from other clinics for C-section dates because of how variable it is between the machine used and if/when it was calibrated.
