Guys that are in emotional relationships with very expensive synthetic human body texture life like dolls.

Lived too long.

vk4gsd, I will admit the movie based on your last comment was actually very sweet...the one with Ryan Gosling in it, "Lars and the Real Girl", I mean.

by vk4gsd on 22 January 2017 - 00:01

Haven't been to the movies since jaws was first released but I will take yr word for it.

Is that the one with the blow-up doll girl he dresses up as real and all the family accommodates this? It was surprisingly good!

I just watched a Hallmark movie today about dog shows and a romance called, "Unleashing Mr. Darcy".... there was no way I couldn't watch it! Mr. Darcy was the aristocratic judge! 😂

I had never heard either "bronies" or "furries" before this thread. Wow. I guess I don't get out much.

by vk4gsd on 22 January 2017 - 01:01

Bee, based on the life of our own Mr Darcy at pdb??

by hexe on 22 January 2017 - 04:01

bee, that's the premise of the movie, though it isn't a blow-up doll, it's a ridiculously expensive, extremely life-like "Real Doll". It was a sweet story, but that's because it left out anything pervy...

Jen, I don't get out much myself, but I read a LOT. Vanity Fair did a piece on 'furries', and I believe it was The Atlantic that had a short feature story on the 'bronies'.

I've seen much stuff on "Furries" ... but am confused by references to "Bronies" - what have I missed, please ?

VK, can't be me as I am far from aristocratic so I will let the comment stand...for now.

by beetree on 22 January 2017 - 13:01

No, I didn't make it up, nor was it a sarcastic remark. Any coincidences were simply uncanny.
