Was told my earlier post was too old to which to add additional info.  But here it is.

If someone needs help with an EPI dog here are some sources --

Wonderful discussion list ~~ gsdepi@yahoogroups.com

Source for information ~~ www.epi4dogs.com

Internal medicine specialist vet in So. Pasadena, CA ~~  Dr J Mott

Hope you do not need these sources, but here they are.  Best Wishes.

Am bringing to this post what I could not use, as the post "too old" the good info I had posted. ~~~~~~~~

Dr Clark is doing research on EPI in animals and not just GSDs. She is located in Clemnson University in Clemnson, SC.

Might check out her work and especially if you have an animal with EPI. One of her staff has a site for EPI dog owners. I do not know the name of it. Understand it is very helpful. There are other lists that also have information.

Dr Clark may be doing research on other genetic problems.

If you have money to spare, check out Dr Clark as I am sure she could use it.

EPI is not always a death sentence.

K9-epiglobal@yahoo.com (yahoo group) is a SUPER group of people. Lots of knowledge and even more caring. Working with a newly diagnosed dog now, who would not be alive without them. Mary

So sorry, never meant to upset you by calling you wrong. I just thought perhaps you meant the other one.  I went to the gsdepi yahoo group site and saw that it was under construction and thought I might redirect to the epi group that literally saved my dogs life.  I realize now that I should not have said maybe you meant ..... but I should have just offered the alternative site as well.  Please don't get your knickers in a knot, I apologize for any wrongdoing on my part.
