Ears and Osteocart plus

I have a 5 month old puppy who's ears have been up and down over the last couple months, currently they are both down and I'm starting to get a bit concerned. I went back and read some of the older posts that cover ears and find alot of mixed opinions. I have read a few posts about Osteocart plus and thought I might give that a try  but I so far I have not been able to find a source that ships to the US. If anyone knows where I can get some please let me know.

Absolutely NOT.  You do not want to add anything like that to a growing puppy, you can severely damage the growth plates and his/her natural bone growth which can cause skeletal abnormalities.

If you want to do something for your puppy add chicken necks, or backs, or wings to his/her diet in place of a kibble meat, RAW ONLY.

Do not ever feed cooked bones.  His ears will come up on their own and if they do not say by 6-8 months, you can help them along with placing some mole skin inside the ear the help them stand.  The fact that they have been up and down is very encouraging which means they should come up on their own after teething.

Otherwise best of luck with him,  Nan

Nans gsd, Thanks for the reply. After re-considering all the options, I have to agree with you and I think a better course of action would be to do it in a more natural way through feeding and or carefully monitored supplements. I did get her started on raw chicken lastnight and will keep her on a raw diet for now.

Any other suggestions/recomendations are welcomed.
