Well Sir, I have only been involved with the breed for 10 years and thought they were good people and have been speaking with them a couple of years but the older dogs they had for sale did not fit and I am not a puppy person.
So I guess I believed they were honest reputable breeders or why was I speaking with them. Fairly simple premise. Also it is more expensive to get a dog there because of the shipping costs to USA but I did not care.
This dog, Qwero, was finally a dog they had that totally fit my needs and I love his sire. I almost bought the dame but she was pregnant a couple of years ago. He was a black WL with a showline personality. I have enough man eaters here and he would have fit the pack perfectly.
There was so much misinformation communicated regarding the shipping by CK that could or could not be done during certain time periods.
I was never asked for a deposit or to sign an agreement because it looked like they could not deliver the dog so I thought. It would have not been a problem as I know they do paypal and I know the address. But I FINALLY checked with Air Canada and there were NO ISSUES. I called CK and left voicemail and emailed them the tele # to that effect. They knew I wanted him!!!
I believe and so do 3 breeders I do business with that they should have called me about the shipping info I gave them and given me 1st right of refusal on the dog. I was not doing this work for health issues or enjoyment!
So this is my version - plain and simple- and the real business world I came from your word is your bond.

WL GSD are not, generally speaking, man eaters (60 years experience).

If a Canadian breeder sells a dog for $2000.00 CND that is only 1500.00 US for those of you living in the USA. That's $500.00 US towards air fare.

I'd be aware of any trainer who claims he can OB train a dog in 2 weeks without taking away some drive and temperament.

I think it's time to move on.

Good luck in the future.

Regards,

GG

Who the f--- do you think you are to tell me to move on- Admin edit..You have been told about the personal insults, quit now!! mrdarcy (mod)-Wendelin dogs are $3500 and up not CDN for older dogs- the dog I was interested had very basic obedience per breeder and was 1 yo for US 3500 plus ship.
Man eaters was an exaggeration dude.
I am not interested in your regards either!

Sounds like one of those who believe everyone has a obligation to die at 70 years old.

Yep, that way there is no learning from those who have lived the life, have experience and are a wealth of information.

I think this person is getting off on being allowed to be an obnoxious fool.... From behind a keyboard.

Wendlin Farms Top Shelf!
I have known Christina & Kaiser Family for several years & have recommended them
to clients and Friends when we had nothing available they always have been happy
with their purchases.
We have contacted them on many occasions, by phone and many e-mails.
They have always been fair and informative. I consider Christina & Her Family to be one of the Top
WL breeders in North America. Their are so many wishy, washy, tire kickers
that contact you when it comes to dogs, people need to back the sale up with a deposit
quickly if they really have interest . Sometimes good honest people just wait too long
and the good ones get sold. The Dogs That Wendlin Farms Imports & breeds are of the finest quality
matter of Fact we often have interest in the same great dogs. But anyone that is really interested in
a dog must decide quickly to leave or not leave a deposit or this is what usually happens.
I would not hesitate to Give The Kaiser's "Wendlin Farms" my business on a pup or adult dog.
The Folks here are stand up people and love what they do and are very Good at It!!!

Maybe you naysayers should read my earlier post Oct 20 1910 before you comment as such. No, that would be asking too much Removed insult The facts are the facts - business practices are either ethical or suspect.
When someone contacts you to give you money for a product or whatever that is the first step of a business relationship/deal.
This may be hard for some of the Removed insult here to understand.
When a seller misrepresents info- I am being polite- then blames the buyer for a failed deal- truthfully who is at fault.
The facts are the facts.

Look, my friend. I know it hurts when you do not get what you were looking for. But it is simple. No deposit, no obligation and first come first serve. Those are the rules you are playing by like it or not. This is not a user-friendly computer game and there are no redos. sooner you learn this better off you will be. There are so many tire kickers out there that it is practically impossible to cater to all of them. This is a tough business and when someone is there with money in the hand - literally or so to speak - then there is no room or time for calling all the people who expressed "interest" in the dog. As a customer, you need to sh1t or get off the pot. Stop being a sore loser and toughen up and learn from this experience. If you expect anything else then you need to get ready for the world of hurt. BTW Christina's reputation is impeccable and you are a fool to turn against her. I am sure, that if you would take it like a man, then I am sure that she would make sure that she would take special care of you in next deal. Now you burned bridges instead. It is foolish to burn bridges. On top of it, nobody likes a whiner and a person who badmouth people like Wendelin farms who are world known for their integrity. You have much to learn from them and from life in general.

 Smoke a pipe on it.
