Inappropriate Agression , but is this a fear biter? - Page 2

First, we don't 'know' if the aggression is 'inappropriate'.

Second, stating the dog is ”(poorly) raised and trained by it's owner" I believe is not obvious. The dog is very obedient to the guy after what appears to be hours of desensitizing. Adog does not become so obedient andpresise in executing commands in one session, unless he has had proper foundation and training to begin with.

Great trainer respect for him and I like this type of dog , not many trainers can handle such dogs like this

Completley dominate the man, look the man straigh in the eyes, high tail, and look at his  front legs
clamps that man says all  in the video @ 1 minute   , it will be interested the grip from this dog without a muzzle can tell a lot more IMO  fear biters have mostly weak grips

I think the last thing the man says at the very start is "Let's see what he'll do/how it goes."

maybe you are looking at a different video black mal, I dond see a high tale, I see a medium carried wagging tale, several times with a downwards arch, after the agression, tail is down all the way

furthermore, I have stronger dogs than this regularly, dont fight with them , but give them dose of sedalin, let that kick in and start working/bonding without (almost) any conflict situations

I don‘t think this is a fear biter.
However, edited videos are hard to read accurately, nor do we know previous training this dog had. Nor do we know the set up of why they are there. And how dog and man were introduced.
I think there has been some sleeve training as the dog is only going after man‘s arm, not his leg or other body parts.
But the dogs body posture tells me he is not fearful.
High wagging tail, holding man‘s arm and continued frustrated bite efforts. Continued bite efforts because of muzzle.
Throughout the whole video the dog is focused on the owner, even when owner is off camera in episode 2 and 3.
Dog is not afraid or uncomfortable of closeness of man even in first episode, nor in second and third espisode where he is alone with man. No „wanting to escape“ body language of dog even when man got very close on the ground. Ears are always in appopriate positions. When barking at man, dog is not really convinced his barking will help and is doing so halfheartly or because of bark training.
Once dog is muzzle free, he listens, but wants to pull to owner. Is not interested in man anymore.
But again, hard to say because we don‘t know more background and can‘t see the long unedited version from before the video starts to the end.

Agree Jesse. The barking when the man is sitting in front, sounds Like the Dog is exhausted but not willing to give up.

I think the op is playing the members with the most bs videos he can find. And for that reason, per Shark Tank, I'm out.

Not necessarily pertaining to any posted videos here, as I don‘t know the trainers...but generally I don‘t like the trend in the last few years to post videos of so called„dangerous“ dogs being „rehabilitated“.
A lot of vids are purposefully making many dogs look more dangerous than they really are ...by using aggression towards dog. All in the vein of „look at what great trainers we are“.

I watched a few more vids from the first posted video with trainer Herve Pupier.
I like his calmness with dogs very much.
Too bad I don‘t speak French as he has some longer vids where he is discussing canine things and would love to understand what he is saying.

Add: The more I watch Harve Pupier vids, the more I like him.
