Not offended at all Jenni...

Those video's were taken when the boys were a few days shy of 9 mos old. I've been fighting with their weight over the last month. I've got them down to1 chicken quarter in the morning, and about 1 lb of beef heart, liver, ground turkey, and sweet potato in the eveniing.

The xrays were taken at 6 1/2 mos.

Below are pics from when they were 7months (tied), 12 wks (food ), and 16 wks (stretching)...  Were they to" fluffy" for their age?An imageAn imageAn image

They both looked absolutely fine for weight at 12 weeks; Draven looks okay too at 16 weeks.
7 months photo (and earlier pics), hmmm, not so much ! Starting to carry that 'little extra' ...

Thank you for the reply Hundmutter,,,

Yep, they were both doing well...and I went about with what I was feeding...not paying attention. Then looked up one day and said...o my... Merc gets fat on air. He's quite a bit bigger than Draven too, much heavier boned. He's the one always running around, always busy. Drave I understood....he's kinda been on house arrest :-( I think I have the right amount for now, because I can see a difference.

Drave gets new/better xrays Thursday, by a specialist. I'm hoping for good results. I haven't seen any change in his gate. I'm hoping for the best !

Got everything crossed for him !

PS Sorry about the double post guys, i'd have edited it out if i'd noticed it before now.  It seems to have appeared some time AFTER posting it first, didn't notice any problem at the time. - Admins, am getting an awful lot of delays on loading pages, and on editing, again at the moment, 'out of the blue'.

Thanks again Hundmutter...meee to ! I'm glad I have someone to bounce things off of. The folks that gave opinions really helped me !

I had problems with posting the pictures, I just thought it was my computer. In my first post I attached all 3 pics... But could only see 1 pic after I posted it. So I posted the 2 I didn't see separately, below that post...still couldnt see them, it just said, "an image"...lol Now this morning...I see pictures everywhere..... Sorry !!!!

I hope you get some good advice on a suitable course of action for Draven. The way you described his back legs sounds like my old girl but less severe.

I am glad you are going to redo the x-rays.
Because of the bad placement it's difficult to see, but I'd say I have seen worse hips, and the dogs had no problems at that young age...
Is it possible that there is another problem?
All the best- don't hurry...
