Yes, its against the clock and the handler can only walk the middle line to direct the dog. :)

Of his characteristics that you value highest, where do you think he gets those from in his genetic background?

Personally, yes. He's just like our old dogs, however, the difference between our old dogs and him is pack drive. Our old dogs were aloof, rock solid, great natural trackers (check) and hard dogs with the ability to take handler pressure very well but they didn't have a very high pack drive which showed in Obedience.

He's the type of dog that I like and primarily grew up with. So that's what I'm always looking for.

@Susie: More like Sport fields and park type tracking fields. Also, it was Kelly that passed the 1 with Bruna. She's extremely talented. Love that girl.

Also, loved the helper. He tested those dogs.
