Looks there is not much changed over almost 30 years

BM I am working with USA breeders since 1989 and I can tell you that you and other people who look at it this way are wrong, there are good dogs and good breeders in the USA long time already
All that is being imported is braggingrights and new fame from which several are definately NOT better than what is in the USA already.
Am I shooting myself in the foot here as a seller of dogs, definately, but it is the way I see things are going for decades, and think its important for people to recognize this on order to make a change

Well if the US create such great dogs and breeders why they are still one of the biggest export market
for europe ?, You can see all those comercial adds here in this board around and around says everything to me.
I have never seen personal any handler here imported a GSD from the US but maybe I,m blind .........
Will visit the US next year and will see it in real life

Well I,m not connected with all those Elite top trainers in Europe and IPO world elite, I,m concentrate on my litle country in KNPV.... Some names from top Elite IPO trainers in Holland and dogs?
Or police LE dogs in any police department in Holland ?

I think Duke is quite right, I have been acquiring good dogs for LE work for many years. In early seventies, eighties unto mid nineties, I exclusively got dogs from Germany stock. From mid nineties until last ten years, most of my stock came from Eastern European stock, but for past ten years I have no longer imported dogs but have acquired dogs from breeders or breedings in the US. There are good breeders and dogs in the US, but reputation and status is not high enough ( titles, trial placing, international participation so breeding will be sought by Europeans) to entice European breeders/competitors......but for LE work; status and pedigree mean little or nothing, but whether dog is working quality and I am having no problem finding good candidates in America and seeing less and less possible candidates from currently imported dogs.

Well let me explain it simple wich important males / females have the US bred/create themself and what impact
have those dogs worldwide and have clear improve the GSD breed ?
Like to see offspring and pedigree .
Their must be some over those years

that is your problem, important measured by what ??, braggingrights are hardly available in USA,I know a lot of K9 centers that produce strong dogs for LE, not enough to fill the numbers, but He, KNPV/holland is certainly not producing the numbers needit as well
know several good malinois (pedigree) breeders that sell many offspring outside USA and also many good GSD breeders in USA,
many years ago (think 2002) I visited in IPO exam near washington USA, there were some nice malinois trailing, bred by a man named Tim Wray, dont know if he is still around

I,m not talking about KNPV or FCI maloinois or all your world wide elite top trainers connection
whatever........... I understand you protect the US because you deal business with them.........
I,m talking about the US and GSD what they have produce and create for important dogs that improve the breed
over the years generation to generation....
Show it to me...........with pedigrees and offspring
