Is your definition of a Bandog pit X neo?

If not please state your definition of a bandog.

@vk4gsd

I already showed a link that covered it, a Bandog is compromised of a hunting dog x guard dog, it is made to take the best of both worlds, as a elite at what it does. A Rottweiler is a good guard dog, but it sucks at hunting as it has no game, no drive, low pain tolerance, and will give up, tire out far before a game dog would, a Bandog has none of those problems, it takes all the drive, and game from the pitbull, hence it becomes an elite, you cant call a Rottweiler a elite game dog. Bandogs are elites via proven through hunting, guarding, working ect.

I am looking for that breed to own. Imagine if you looked through any site on any subject, and instead the first thing they tell you is, to do it your self? Why did you even bother to reply.

You aren't required to read my posts, and you can't determine who replies to a query because you don't like the answer.

I quite understand the type of dog you seek, btw.

Enjoy your quest but you are probably barking up the wrong tree for that type of breeding database, here.

@beetree

I've seen similar ones already here on this database...

Bandog: Pitbull x Bull dog x Presa bloodlines:

I am looking for a bandogge like that. I am not here to debate anyone.

A German shepherd, Rottweiler and doberman are all bandog then because they are made up of guardians and hunters. So are most of the flock protectors like east euro dogs.

you dont get an elite bunch of dogs by crossing dogs, that is illogical. Elite dogs by definition are a subset of a population, nobody has ever created a breed of elite dogs just by crossing dogs but some crosses and purebreds can be elite.

Take a shitty pit bull and cross it with a shitty mastiff you don't magically get elite hunting dogs that guard at an elite level.

Is an AB and Dogo Bandogs?

Special forces around the world are elite units that use dogs to hunt men and protect their handlers, how many Bandogs do they mission?

by Kanary on 17 May 2017 - 22:05

@vk4gsd

Elite is still a standard of the breed, you can have curs, as any breed can. But for what you're saying is, that's like saying if someone crossed a 200 pound english mastiff with a 50 pound pitbull, that not even one of the dogs pups will grow up to be heavier than 50 lbs and smaller than the pitbull parent, that would literally be impossible, all the pups will 100% be larger than the pitbull parent, thats just genetics, you are talking temperaments, not attributes and traits.

A champion dog can produce curs, and a culled cowed pitbull who has never been game tested in its life can still produce the next batch of most gamest dogs there is. If that dog does not have any mastiff in it, it is not a bandog. Breeds have standards and so do Bandogs have standards.

PDB is a database for registered purebred dogs and I don't think this type of discussion belongs on here.

by Kanary on 17 May 2017 - 22:05

@Fantom76

Pardons, I just thought I post a question to the community here if they know of any one on this site or in general of a cross between a Bull dog x Presa x Pitbull x English mastiff. As I showed you do have those type of crosses here or dogs with those breeds as their pedigree. Perhaps it was asked in the wrong section, if so feel free to erase the topic as I am fairly new to this site in where to ask some questions and figured some of the more common users would already have brushed passed a dog with those following breeds in it.

Actually, these dogs do not belong on this database and we are looking into removing them.
As to where to ask your question. Is there not a website or Facebook specifically for this. As I said.... PDB is for purebred registered dogs... and they are not.
I believe that you received some answers to your question. I still do not think PDB is the place to discuss them..... though I have not locked this query yet. I'm thinking.

The only championships available that game test are matched dogs. Nobody here is of such low character as human beings to do such barbaric moronic and cowardly acts.
