Looking to buy a puppy from a Polish breeder. Puppy is listed as Old German OWCZAREK. Breeder tells me the AKC will register the puppy as a German Shepherd. They are German Shepherds, you can see that from the pictures. Just want to make sure I can transfer registry. Thanks for any help!

Check the AKC.com web-site under Foreign Dog Register...It will list most Registries that they will accept...But basically AKC will accept any Registry that is FCI...
