It´s sickening -

I know people like to import untitled females, because they are cheap, and a later "litter" will "refund" the money the buyer "invested", but now, even worse, there are advertisements almost every day offering young ( VERY young, in my opinion too young ) pregnant ( not to mention "untitled" ) females.

I know AKC doesn´t ask for titles, but PLEASE, at least research the AGE of the female in question, and if she already had a litter...

Nobody should support these sales practises, it´s morally wrong.
For every dog of this kind you buy there will be offered 10 more.

It shouldn´t be "about money" only...

Hi out of curiosity what age in your opinion is,a bitch to young to be in pup.

SV says "20 months prior to breeding" -

given that countries outside of Germany don´t care about SV standard, I´d say the female should AT LEAST be 18 months old - "big" breeds like the German Shepherd Dog mature slower than "small" breeds, people should think about that.

I believe you, Susie, but I have never personally seen one advertised pregnant at a very young age. Could be because I have never looked, as this is of zero interest to me :D.  Is this really happening every day?? And you think only Americans are interested in buying cheap dogs to flip for profit??? Where are these dogs coming from? Hungary? Serbia? You can't just blame the buyers. If the sellers had any morals, they wouldn't be offered in the first place. Let's face it; the people buying those kinds of dogs from those kinds of ads aren't really in it for any reason that is ever going to be a benefit to the dogs.

Jen, it almost became "routine".
Most often the age is not mentioned, you need to search for it...
These dogs are not coming from Western Europe, we´d loose our membership immediately.

It´s not forbidden to sell these dogs, so I can only appeal to potential buyers to stay away from ads like this, and check everything twice.

I saw an ad yesterday and the poor girl was only 14 months old! Unbelievable that someone would breed so young.

I saw an ad recently for a pregnant 15 month old, too. It's all about human greed. :(

I have no way to stop these and we surely do not cordon this. It is Serbia and anyone who buys out of Serbia is taking a huge chance. A lot of our scams come out of Serbia.
