Had a little junior working with my dogs this weekend.  E usually shows sighthounds (Borzoi and Whippets specifically) and is new to working Shepherds.  She's worked Mikasa once before (went Best Junior in a match with her) but not Soul Eater.  Ten years old and provided me with the best stack I've ever had of him.

Cute! <3 Mikasa is such a lovely girl. Soul Eater was the one you got back abused right?

No, Moto is the one I got back abused. Soul eater I got back because he actually didn't bond with his new owner. All he wanted was me. I finally told my husband a couple weeks ago that the dog isn't leaving.

E set up soul and Mikasa completely by herself by the way. The only thing I told her to do was to move a foot forward or back, and she really didn't need help with that. I didn't tell her to back up away from the dog to present either! She did that all on her own. The girl just knows how to present a dog.

Oh that's right, I remember now. Hard to keep track! How is the pup doing that was going to do Schutzhund?

Great kid, definitely got talent!

The person that has Striker is kinda all over the place, so nothing's really going on with him, unfortunately :( Got several other dogs engaged in performance, though :)

It's great to see young people take up dog stuff. That young girl certainly has a natural talent for handling.    She is presenting your dogs very well, they look good and also relaxed with her.

I firmly believe that interests such as sports, music, athletics, etc. will give children focus and help them stay out of trouble.

They absolutely do :) When I was her age, all of my time was (willingly) spent at a piano.

I still have that piano...it's traveled with me all over.
