An imageHey, I'm looking for a constructive conformation quote on this male. I do not own nor the dog, nor the picture.

Thanks for your input,

Benn

Not cool to ask for public critiques on other peoples dogs.

by BennVan on 19 February 2016 - 01:02

vk4gsd,

why are these members cooler as I ???? when they started the thread

I quote;

BSZS GHKLR ; by SporterGSD on 09 September 2015 - 14:09

This thread is to discuss structure, movement and TSB in the GHKLR (Großhundklasse Rüden) aka adult male class

Is that a show?

IMO opinion at a show is public domain, different thing in my estimation.

No authority here, just basic decency as I see it, not even specific to dogs.

You are free to do whatever you want. I am sure others wont see it as a problem either and will do the critique.

LOVE his condition; don't know too much else about him; would love to see video of him moving around the ring or wherever he may be; But since you don't offer; here is my opinion of a standing dog:

Beautiful headpiece; a bit of a lighter eye; OK length of back a bit of a steep croup; shoulder layback could be better with adequate rear angulation and bend of stifle; stack is not great so have to go with what I see and front feet could be better look a bit flat; is facing downhill also which does not make for a great critique.

A very pretty picture and a relaxed look of intelligence. Good Luck who ever he is... Nan

PS:  did I say beautiful shining coat is always a plus and coat in great condition...  This would be a very pretty WGSL...

Hi vk4gsd thank you for your comment  hope others will agree with you.

Bennvan the difference is your picture is of some ones pet not made to be used to judge the dog from.  This could hurt a persons feelings depending on what is said.  Not cool

Pictures of dogs from a show is a little different they are out there to be judged. Now saying that we still should be respectful of the owners feelings.

Now if you are just wanting to know if any one likes this dog because you do then a different approach should be taken

Agree with Western Rider, but also with Nans post since
we've got it ! I just wanted to add that if that was the pic
you appeared to be struggling to post, it was worth the wait !

Very nice photo of a fairly well stacked dog, good of its type.

You seem to have "an eye" for a dog, Benn.  Don't waste it

on other people's; do you have one that is your own ?

I have a lot of empathy with anyone who takes a little time
to work out how to get a photo onto the board; too old to
be technically savvy, I only managed it once or twice in half
a dozen years !

vk4gsd and western rider;

I came to this forum to learn and yes, I can take an honest correction. It's true I did not think to much about the private side of the story, but I wouldn't have mentioned his name anyway.

Thanks for lighting me up !

Nan and hundmutter;

Thans for giving me an honest opinion on this male. As a matter of fact, I took him last week as stud for my female's /hopefully/ first litter...What i can tell you that he's, via his mother, a half-brother to Ballack.

Wish you all a nice day,
Benn

I like Clea´s pedigree, and I like the Hill/Yasko linebreeding, not a real fan of the fatherline, though - but that´s me.
Does he have the temperament one would hope to get out of this linebreeding?
I hope this stud complements your dam to it´s best.

For the admins - there is something wrong in Clea´s offspring ( Dino Brucknerallee ).

by BennVan on 19 February 2016 - 18:02

Hi Susie, this would be te outcome;

Linebreeding - 5 generations Inbreeding coefficient
Father - Mother Who Wright's Hardiman's
5 - 4 VA5 Nero vom Nöbachtal SCHH3 00.39% 02.49%
5 - 5 2X VA1 Yasko vom Farbenspiel SCHH3 00.20% 02.34%

And yes, he has very nice temperament. Same for my female.
