I have always done the OFA hip and elbow ratings in the past, but was wondering how I would go about getting the German "A" stamp ratings. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You will need to join a Schutzhund club  and go through them   They will provide you with the paper work you need and they will submit it to the German SV.

They will also have all the information on what you will need to do.

Don't have to be a member. Here is a link that explains the process.

I'm not sure that the WDA is processing any xrays. They are out of business for the most part. The other options are the GSDCA and the UScA.

Join UscA. All directions for the process are on their website. (might be in the members only section). you send your X-rays to the UScA office and they forward them on to Germany.

It is a long process. 2 months easily before you will get your results. If your dog is close to 2 I would simply wait and go through OFA.

Make sure you use a vet familiar with the SV system. It is a pain when you have to teach you vet what they need to know. (and some are resistant to learning from their clients)

Good luck

Mike
