How can I edit a pedigree to add information if I don't own it? - Page 1

I'm working on several generations for my own pedigree and dog I have registered on the website. Someone else submitted the sire and dam into the database. Since they own that post, I can't find a way to claim those dogs as part of my pedigree.

Help a new person out? I'm missing half of my pedigree because I can't connect them.

To elaborate: Khaos Jordan's Justice is my dog, yet someone else created her entry into the database. I can't edit her to add more information to the pedigree and it looks like the user has been inactive for some time.

On the puppy that I did enter by this dam, when I go to add pedigree information, the sire and dam names will appear in the search box, but then won't actually save to the pedigree.

You need to ask for ownership. PM me a link/s to all dogs. Be advised I am working a lot of overtime and with the holiday next week, I am not sure when I can get to it, might be next weekend.

Screen shots of how it works:
1)Type in the name of the sire/dam. If the dog is in the system, as soon as the system has enough information to recognize one or more names, names with these letters come up underneath the search box, the letters in blue.
2) Move cursor onto the name that you want, it becomes highlighted in yellow.
3) Click on yellow high lighted and the name appears in the search box on white.
4) Click on the green button at the bottom > +Create and continue < to save the information.
