My trainer's suggested that I enter my pup in Puppy Classes (Long Coat) next January. (She'll be 6 months on the 19th November.)

Can anyone give me an idea of the sort of comments she's likely to receive?  Sorry about the stack, we are about to start conformation classes to help me get that right, so I hope these give a good enough idea.

Are you planning to show SV, AKC, UKC? I show UKC, working line, trying to get to an SV show, just haven't been able to get to one yet :( I like your girl. Though, without a proper stack it is hard to judge structure. From the stack you have she looks like she has nice balance, good shoulders and chest. Feminine face. Looks like she has a nice croup, might not be too steep, but hard to really tell. She is what is slang called Easty Westy, meaning her front feet face out instead of straight, it isn't a huge deal and you can fix it if you pick her front end up by her elbows and turn them in before setting her down.
When you take a picture of a stack you would be best to crouch down so that the camera faces her more like the picture of her sitting, but straight. I am pretty sure there are several really good explanations of how to do a proper stack here, just search the term 'stacking' or 'how to stack'. Overall I think she is pretty. If you show just remember to have fun and listen to the judges without getting too upset if they say anything critical. I once had a judge call my girl a dumb blonde (which was extra rude since I'm blonde) because as we were doing the run back to her the door behind us slammed shut and she looked back at the loud noise, as did I. So just take it all in stride and have fun!

Regardless of what people think of your girl at this YOUNG age, take her to class, show her if you feel comfortable doing so and enjoy every moment with her while she is growing up and learn yourself how to handle her. For true evaluations you really need to do a video of her moving, stacked, front/rear and side. She has a beautiful expression and very nice color. The rest will come. Best of luck with her but most importantly, enjoy your puppy time with her. That disappears in an instant. So train and enjoy... Nan

I´d go for it, she looks good, but training is important, no judge wants to see an untrained dog.
Check her teeth prior to the show, nothing more disappointing than to find major faults on a show...( although at this age they don´t tend to judge the teeth).
The pics are not the best, she seems to have a short croup, but that´s no big deal, and she´ll change till January a lot. The east/west might be by accident, during the "sit" she is okay, just take care of it while stacking her.
Her age is perfect for a January show, she´ll be one of the eldest in the class ( and in the longcoat classes normally only one or two, maybe 3 dogs are entered ). The "rating" is just for fun, that said, it doesn´t affect her later on ( no official result in case of breed worthiness ).
Just enjoy! And never forget - your dog doesn´t care, neither should you in case this single judge won´t like her ( although I´m sure she´ll get a VV rating / very promising in case she is trained ).
Good luck! Keep us updated!

She's cute! Hard to tell too much from this angle, a stack pic should be taken as more of a side-profile... about shoulder level to the dog. Much easier to judge specifics from there. She has a nice, feminine face, be sure to check her bite and make sure she isn't overshot. Showing is fun, and I'd recommend trying it out for sure.

Thank you all for the very helpful comments. I'm encouraged to learn a bit more about showing at least and have a go. I'll try and get some better pictures over the weekend (weather permitting and pup being in a nice calm mood - I can always hope!).

Try to get down to the same level for a side picture of her when she is
stacked, as you already managed in the pic of her sitting. (Were you
sitting on the ground next to her for that shot ?) It could help to have
someone else there to attract her attention, or she might come up and
lick your face & the camera instead of standing still ! Best of luck with
her.
