You have flat out accused me of banning people who have a different opinion on politics than I do. And you are wrong. There are other reasons beyond my words on threads with any member as to why they are banned. I would like to have them all back but I know that it will not work, I have tried numerous times.

No member has ever been banned from this site for their political views. I must admit though that the ones who are banned broke the rules or broke promises to me that they would not do the things that got them banned in the first place. Furthermore, no member has been banned forever from the first time being banned. We have given people chance after chance, you can blame me all you want but what about them taking any of the blame? You act like they have no guilt in why they have been banned. Because you are blaming it somewhat on the fact that they have different political views than I do and this is why they are banned.

For LMH, no sir you do not have a clue as most of the members you mentioned were eventually banned by me!! I have no political views, I disagreed with a lot of their comments but that is not the reason any of them were banned and I regret none of the bannings as I know exactly what went on. In future if you have anything to say about my moderation do so in a PM and don't come here accusing Mods of things you know absolutely nothing, zilch, zero about.

Hundmutter you are correct I did like/dislike a lot of posts, just couldn't help myself, but rarely joined in as it's fruitless. I am now enjoying the peace and quite. It would be nice to read some positive OT subjects don't ya think?

till now every president was owned by the people paying their campain, Trump pays his own way, that is a fresh breath of air to start with, furthermore the whole world has to stop being political correct and start to name the problems and take care of them

not saying im agreeing with everything Trump says but maybe he can start some things to move

This country like a fire department or police department can not be run like a business.  It is not about profit and bottom lines.  If that is the way to run a country then people become commodities with risk/benefit values.  Single mom with 2 small children, more risk than benefit to invest in.  Single man with college education, more benefit than risk to invest in.  Elderly retirees, more risk than benefit, see how this can go?  Fire departments and police departments can not be run for profit, they are about helping those that temporarily need more help.  This country needs to be run for the people, not for profit and anyone like Trump would run it like a business.  Besides he is a bully and a buffoon.  Misogynist as well.  Just what we want in the Whitehouse.....

As for blocking/banning people that have a difference of opinion, ridiculous.  Unless they are beyond any degree of civilized/respectful conversation/discussion or threatening individuals, then let them stay to keep things lively.  I enjoy a good discussion with others who don't agree with me as long as we can all be civilized and respectful.  I hope if I step over then someone will call me on it and let me know I was over the line.  I would be the first to apologize.  Sometimes with posting, the majority of the communication is lost, after all communication is 85% non-verbal.
