I promised I would post when we achieved our 1 and we did it this weekend!! Woohoo!!  I made some bonehead first time handler moves, but overall it was an amazing learning experience and I could not have gotten through it without alot of prayers and support.  Our scores were as follows:  Tracking 81, Obedience 78 (this is where the bonehead moves came in - lol) and Protection 90 with pronounced TSB whatever that means!  I am so excited. If you want details pm me and I will be happy to give a play by play!  Judges comments aside from my handling errors were:  very strong female, so handler must be stronger, extreme quality in the bitework and strong to the helper.  Among other things that I can't remember right now.

Now for the negative.  I want to thank the people who told me the following and I am quoting so they will know who they are:

1.  I called it that the breeding would not happen.  I am 99.99% sure you will not get this female titled or bred and that would be a shame.

2.  She is too high drive for Schutzhund, she should be sold to a police department

3.  She should have been put to sleep - too aggressive.

Thank you to those people who made these comments, you were the power behind me getting it done!

I am sure Wade is happy as Eve came from one of his best litters and many of the males from the E litter did go into police and protection work.  Congrats for you and for Eva.  Eve is like her mother Rega it seems and that is a good thing.

Congrats!

What is UP with this "too high drive for SchH" thing??? I heard that recently and was like wth??? Someone said that about a dog I bred (who's an IPO 3, btw). I found that puzzling.

Way to show 'em.Thumbs Up

Oh, don't you LOVE the naysayers?  Roll eyes

I heard (secondhand, of course, they didn't have the guts to say it to my face!) that my dog would never get her BH last year, and neither of us really belonged in the club!  Angry Smile

We proved 'em wrong!

Congratulations on your achievement! It takes a lot of hard work!

Congratulations!!! Super proud of both of you! Haters are going to hate! :)

MMStickel - you have been my rock in more ways than one!!!  And you are right, the haters will hate, and we will keep trialing and learning and titling (sp?) dogs!!!!  Love you to the moon and back!!!

Congrats Dyrewolf.  So glad you proved the naysayers wrong.  Little do they realize their negativity is the driving force.

We own your girl's half brother by Fargo.  Unfortunately, he was in someone's pasture along with horses and cows tied on a barbed wire fence. Very powerful dog and has a heart to please.  Too bad nothing was done with him while he was younger.

Please keep up posted as you continue your training and accomplishments.

Hutchins - I will keep you posted!  Who was your dog's mother? And thank you so much for the encouragement.  It is greatly appreciated!!
