So, the paint I got for the door was actually the same color as my Jeep and that was too weird.  So, I'll use that for something else, I got this instead....

I LOVE it!!!!

I agree! The green though vibrant as it is, complements the brick better than the yellow would have done.

It says, the owner of this door is happy, and wants you to be happy, too. IMHO

I grow passion fruits all over my place. I make passion fruit sorbet with the fruits !! I use the blooms as a pretty garnish around my fruit salad trays.

I love Brugmansia's. Although the plant mentioned in the video isn't the plant dudes talking about. Who are these people !!! He musta been desperate to just make a video or something.  LOL

YR,

Seems your passion flower looks quite a bit like the cultivated one's in Monique Reed's photos, taken from a cultivation at TX A&M. Look at the listing for Passiflora sp. and Passiflora spp. in this link: http://botany.csdl.tamu.edu/FLORA/imaxxpas.htm

Going by this account you will be getting some fruit to use! Being a newlywed, how wonderful a surprise gift to find growing in your new home's yard. Regular Smile

Seems like a yellow variety is native to parts of TX, too.

Thanks Bee:  Yes it is like mine and it shows the fruit...

I am gonna keep a close watch on them for a fruit to appear...Had a rain storm yesterday that broke alot of tree limbs and did a number on tops of flowers but the passion and my tomato and eggplant are on south side of house between the neighbors so it was safe.

HERE ARE new blooms and new trellis material for all the vine that had already entwined other plants

Day lillies taken over by vine so today a lattice went up in three places

With purple salvias trying to get started..the vine had one runner already entwined on it and it is not a heavy plant so in a day it would have bowed out probably. No blooms on this one yet

YR
