I normally don't post anything on this site, but I need to let people know about this breeder.  His kennel is called Ne Plus Ultra German Shepherd.  I sold him my retiring German Shepherd female (she was 5 at the time).  He was very nice and convincing, he came here with his family and told me he was looking for a pet, she was going to be his only dog.  I told him I was going to have my female spayed, and he asked if I wouldn't let him have just one litter, so he could keep one of her offspring.  After talking to him for a while, I agreed and he promised, that she would have only one litter, and then she was going to get spayed and be his family dog.  The dogs name is Flora von Blue Rose, she is a wonderful, loving and beautiful dog, that I imported from Germany.  I couldn't keep her, because she was aggressive towards my other dogs.  Unfortunately, this liar is still breeding her now.  She never had a break since he got her and he is still advertising her.  On his website http://neplusultragsds.com/puppies he has her listed as the "M" litter, to have a litter in January of 2013.   This dog will be 10 years old in November 2013.  I know I made a terrible mistake by selling her unaltered, and believe me, if I could do something about it, I would.  But please people, that's what he does. He goes around and buys old dogs and then breeds and breeds and breeds until they drop.  PLEASE, DON'T BUY FROM HIM.  Don't help him to continue this shady and horrible exploitation of the German Shepherd.

Irrespective of whether this breeder is a liar (to you, OP);  or
whether he is churning litters out of elderly bitches at every
season ... having read the website, in his own words, I have
GOT to wonder how a man and wife, maybe with help
by small children, can both be out at work all week yet still
be a one-person, hobby breeder.  With several dogs (plus
any pups).  Taking care themselves of 'all the cleaning and
feeding' and doing maximum socialisation, etc.  To the highest
standard, indicated by the kennel name.
Something has to give.

While I think it's sad that this female pays the price for having a uterus,
I am curious, did you charge extra at the time of sale for the priviledge of
breeding the female 'one last time'?

Naduah,
I know exactly who you are talking about.  I have dealt with him myself and know of two other people.  And you are correct, that in the beginning he is very nice.    I can tell you that all three of us agree with your warning.  In my case, he used my dog as a stud and I had a very difficult time collecting the fee (eventually I did).   But, I know of others that have bought puppies that haven't been so lucky.  I recommend that people do research when using this (or any) breeder.
