Looks like 50-50 Czech and old DDR lines to me.

What you have is a puppy with a great pedigree. Great Czech lines on the bottom and Great DDR lines on the top. Dont worry about what people are saying.

Thanks All, Again, I am VERY proud of her, great lineage or not! She is the love of my life, and after our little "rough patch" last week, we have become closer. As it turns out, that "rough patch" was easier than I thought to fix, I just started training her, playing with her, and talking to her more. Before, it was me begging for HER attention, now the tables have turned, she is under my feet sleeping as we speak, as she has been for the last hour (minus the potty breaks for her and I) and she has now made a habit of following me into the bathroom during my showers. At first I left my dirty cloths on the table in there, now I leave them on the floor, and I occasionally peak my head out from behind the shower curtain and see her curled up on my cloths sleeping soundly. The biting thing is improving too, she has started licking, instead of biting, due to the proper encouragement. Thanks to everyone who helped from this post, and from my "Puppy Problems" post!

Blue Sky- first your Czech lines are panazi strazi lines (spelling), these are the old Czech border patrol/police dog kennels. On your german lines simple just click on one of the ancestors and go further back, All DDR. So yes would have to say your dog is Czech working line and DDR. Also by the way nice looking pup. Mike

Mike said **On your german lines simple just click on one of the ancestors and go further back, All DDR.** If you follow the fathers line for Quercus Fedo who is out of Canto v Amicos, Canto's sire/dam are Jupp vd Haller Farm and Franka v Fiemereck, there is nothing DDR about them, all WG lines. Franka goes back to Canto vd Wienerau/Necko v Fiemereck and Jupp goes back to Mutz vd Pelztierfarm/Ulli v Tollensestrand.

Blueskyekennels, unless the woman was rude in her email to you (which could also be a lack of English writing skills), she was probably referring to your puppy's sire line. If you check, his maternal grandsire Zorro von der Wildsau does come through West German conformation lines on his paternal side. He is a direct paternal descendant of VA-Mutz von der Pelztierfarm through VA-Jupp von der Haller Farm and his maternal granddam Franka vom Fiemereck (recognize that kennel name? It is still one of the best conformation kennels nowadays.) is a granddaughter of Canto vd Wienerau (through her father American Champion Aßland vom Klämmle). And before somebody says: Well, that was before the great split! That is incorrect. The last conformation line dog in your puppy's pedigree is from 1987, well within the reign of the Martin Era!!! So, I had to say that and remind you that it is sometimes better to do a bit of research before posting any accusations (not necessarily coming from you - mind you). This research is pretty easy to do, provided the pedigree information on this site is correct (which is not always the case). Again, the woman might not be the most skillful English writer, and if you wish to communicate with her and want to clarify matters, I would be more than happy to translate something for you. Just send me an email if this would be something you wish to do. While I do not know much about Czech and some GDR lines, I want to add that this seems to be a great open pedigree. Your puppy does not have any linebreeding at all, so if she does work out for you with her titles, health, conformation, etc., it would be an interesting prospect for (almost) all lines. The same thing seems to be true for her sire, and her mother is a closely linebred dog (probably a great brood bitch if bred wisely). Good luck and all the best with her. Chris
