Trainer in OH advise please - Page 12

My heart goes out to Trix, I can not imagine your sadness to hear this...I sure hope Teddy turns up ok,,
 

If I knew anyone involved in dog fighting, I would "RUN" not walk to authorities and make certain they went to jail first, then HELL.
It's barbaric, and cruelty at it's finest.
And, I do not put any blame on trixx, I am certain she must be devastated.
It's just a shame that the cost of getting a title on her dog, probably cost the dog his life.

Was chatting on the phone today with a friend who is a GSD breeder here in Franklin county (central Ohio area)  they mentioned to me that a lady called them out of the blue and asked them if they happened to purchase any dogs from Cory Dewberry or if they had purchased a solid black male GSD recently.  (no they had never purchased a dog from dewberry and it's been several years since they'd bought a solid black dog.)   The lady told them that her solid black male GSD had been at dewberry's and now he's missing too, she had talked to dewberry's wife and the wife admitted that cory had sold the dog.    The lady whose solid black GSD is missing seems to be cold-calling all the GSD breeders in the area that she can find in attempt to locate her dog.   

just more and more heartbreak.  

I thought this thread was about helping Bea get her dog back.

 

Why not look at this thread as a learning experience and realize someone cannot be considered "safe" to send a dog to simply because he's known in the small world of working dogs? Can't something beneficial be taken from this horror story and serve to protect dogs in the future, instead of pretending Cory Dewberry was the only person in the dog world capable of doing this and keep our heads in the sand? Makes no sense to me. 

I hope poor Teddy was sold and is found alive. From the story he gave, it sounds plausible that he may be alive still, and Cory dumped him for money. Until we know otherwise, let's keep looking for him as if he is alive, and in someone else's home. The sooner this blows over, the easier it will all be to forget, which is NOT the desired response!!! JMO.

Actually, it makes sense that Teddy is NOT among the dead dogs. If AC was there in Dec., and trixx was there after Teddy went missing and did not find any of the horrors,
Let's assume this guy did sell the dog first.
I would never stop looking.
And I agree, this should be a learning experience/ again I say;
Believe NOTHING of what you hear, and half of what you see. Esp when it comes to your dog.

Maybe Trixx should call Cory Dewberry's wife?  She seems to have answers.

Maybe Trixx should contact the attorney prosecuting the case?

Hi Guys,
sorry its been awhile been very busy,  well first all , yes i will keep looking for Teddy till i find out what happen to him , it sure would be solved if Cory would  just tell me. i feel in my gut Cory sold Teddy and i will believe that till i find out different , it just makes no sense about teddy running away , but makes alot of sense about Cory selling Teddy and making a fortune, he was worth   alot.
at first i did believe Cory as i thought he was a honest person , i mean thats the whole reason  i thought he would take good care of Teddy like her promised me from the start.
yes i did see Cory place in Dec and it all looked fine , in decent shape, the dogs were in good shape , he had 15 dogs then there.

i never seen anything there that would say he was doing dog fighting so cant say anything about that.

yes i sure would like to talk with Cory wife, if she knows anything about teddy.  contact me please.

i also had Teddy on the news the other day  in  OH and hope that all helps, it cant hurt.

yes i do have a complaint on file with Fairfield police.  but as many times as i tryed to call them and get something going on teddy they  did nothing untill now , cause there is a true case on cory and same with the news  , no one  wanted to help me , now there is this hugh story now they are interested.  well you get the idea.

yes i am so sad about all of this and i have learned a hugh lesson and i hope everyone can also learn from my experience.

after this i am going to have to find away to  do IPO myself, i found a good trainer to help me, so i can get lesson, i know it is best to do it myself and after this i am not willing to ever let my dogs go to a trainer again.

as far as  all the  bones they found at cory place they dont know yet if they are dogs or  wild animals

if any  one has  any information on  how to contact the attorney prosecutor , please let me know, i have not really been informed  of anything. as in court dates etc,.

well hope we do get some leads to Teddy where abouts.
