It is amazing what a half a tab of Rimadyl will do for a down-in-the-dumps puppy. So much so, I have to be very careful to prevent any rough housing between Mojo and Beau. Vet said I could give half a tab twice a day, but I only just gave him the second half. If he doesn't allow it to heal on its own, the only other thing is some kind of cast that would include the whole leg. He's supposed to be on a leash for all exercise. This is going to be difficult for the required 4 to 6 weeks. I am hoping his puppy age will help him mend on the quicker side.
Oh, and the vet said it was some kind of trauma and doesn't think it would have been a bite (from Mojo) as there were no teeth wounds.

Yeah bee, the abuse is so clearly visible on that little porker! I love it! Him and Mojo look like they are having the time of their lives in them pics.
I also say he must have hurt his toe in his digging extravaganza.
What a hole. I can honestly say my dogs dig holes, but never have I seen one like that.
Keep up the good work, you definately have very happy dogs.

I too--- think I have no choice but to accept, lol, he's one big baby rhino!... he looked like one the other day, complete with a horn when he grabbed a certain pair of Merrills by the heel, and suddenly the front of the shoe became his "horn"....LOL I will try for a camera shot, if I see it again. lol
Hundmutter, keeping him calmly exercised within the family parameters, is daunting. I go upstairs and am horrified with what transpires during my absenses within seconds ... in my most vulnerable moments!
