There, I've made it clickable for you, Gwen. What a heartbreaking picture!

It turns out the dog, an OWNER SURRENDER, is acutally FEMALE, and barely a year old! She has a broken pelvis and is covered in scars that look to be from being attacked by other dogs.

I wonder if she was maybe used as a bait dog for dog fighting.

Man, that hurts. When I get my kennel done , THOSE are the dogs I am going to take in,and keep them. How the hell do you drop an old dog off at the shelter? Yeah, life happens, but that is terrible.

This one is not old. Young and abused. Very sad story. Please click on link to read all about her and her medical needs. Which are huge. This girl needs donations no matter how small. Everyone involved are just concerned dog loving citizens. This one is going to take a village! Gwen

Thank you fawndallas! I so hope done means a donation. If you click on the link right now it should have updated contributors names. So far no mews about her x-ray or whether her hip is fractured. Indeed I hope the wrath gets who ever did this to Grace! Gwen

Bless your kind souls! I hate to think how much Vet bill could mount to. Right now no GSD rescue has stepped in to help. One in Houston, Texas has claimed they will take her if she can get transported. So far all rescues in California will not take her. She really needs to stay in California with her health issues. Thanks again. And please click on link periodically. It will have "guardian angel" names listed and hopefully in morning there will be updated health report. So far no news on her x-ray. Gwen
