Hi, I recently came across a person who said feeding fish is also good, or should i say, feeding fish skin with some flesh without the boney part is also good for the dogs. Boiling it with little salt, kind of soup. Any comments or suggestions on this??

Don't the Huskies in Alaska live on a staple of fish(salmon)? Seems as thought I read that somewhere. Stephen

In southern part of the Philippines, spicifically Gen. Santos City. They used the black meat of yellow fin Tuna for there working GSD and Malinois, good for coat conditioning and hearth too.

I give my 5 year old male Sardine tin once in a while, in Tomato sauce. I thought fish was as good as chicken. Please correct me if I'm wrong in doing this so that I can stop immediately if needed.

i have never had problems with feeding fish other than what we have to watch out for (contaminants etc.) being high in omega fatty acids, it is great for skin and coat, as well as heart. i would think that sardines in tomato sauce would only be a problem if your dog is sensitive to tomatoes.
