you can get USA pink papers for litters born in states but not SV pink papers. for SV to issue pink papers, an SV warden has tn examine litter, and i am sure SV warden did not travel to Ohio to inspect. 1 possibility is litter was whelped in Germany and brought over after final inspection and tattoo?

bgstout, I have a female NOW(hopefully pregnant) that was bred in Germany and the pups will be born here in the US and the only option I have is to register the pups with the AKC. I have done this before and believe me, if I could get SV papers on the pups, I would. It just cannot be done. For puppies born within the geographical boundaries of the USA, the FCI has given the AKC(only) registration authority.

SBGH, is your bitch AKC registered? If not I would get working on the DNA, the paperwork from the stud's owner and everything else now. I have a pup who will be one year old in Nov. who's dam was not AKC registered and the AKC is only now finishing up her litter registration.

All my dogs are AKC registered. Those born here and those bought in Germany(with pink papers) are all AKC registered.
