is ther any1 to help me pls...i have a gsd and she is pregnant and today is her 46th day...she is loosing weight..she use to eat twice a day but now a days she is eatin only once....is this normal....should i change my food...pls do suggest me...she is also goin thinner...pls let me know..and do let me know is it safe to deworm her...she also vomits sometimes let me know...

When I have a female that decides to get picky, I add chicken broth (with low sodium) and that seems to perk them up. I use a small amount, maybe 1/2 cup and then mix it all together so each kibble gets broth on it. I do assume you are feeding kibble and not raw?

Just my opinion.. but it may be time for a vet visit.. I had a bitch absorb a pup once at this stage and it made her very sick and she ended up at Davis University with what they thought was pyometra and found to have had 7 viable pups but had absorbed one.. so she did need to be on IV's for a few days and get her over the hump.. dont take chances when they are pregnant!! it cant hurt to have her stool checked and her pups maybe ultrasounded to be sure they are there and hopefully ok. good luck !!

I agree, take her to a vet, a reproduction specialist if possible.
Make sure she doens't have any infections and that her CBC panel looks normal.

A pregnant bitch that vomits is not uncommon. I have one here that vomits during her pregnancy. She also will go off her food if I don't "doctor" it. If the OPs bitch has been off her food for a little bit, that's probably why she's getting thinner. Of course, this is JMHO. Check her temperature. If she has a fever, then yes I'd take her to the vet. Otherwise, it sounds fairly common to me. Of course, I am not a vet ....

Doctor her food with cottage cheese, hamburger, chicken broth low salt
a little broth of veggies you cook....and feed her small amounts..
TAKE TEMP.
Several of mine do it and they always go a week then pick back up...They may vomit because they have indigestion and ate grass..watch her carefully and examine her bowel and her vomit...log what you see in it..
water is important..
I also add from this time of your date forward a can of PUPPY well known brand...with Choline., per my vets instructions,,,,till birth as they need the extra choline and it is found in puppy food..
Other than adding a bit of extra virgin olive oil to the food and a little powder milk on the top of food,...they will eat when they feel better....today . or tomorrow but you must only feed small amounts and see if what you add helps...Adding a meat broth , first helps entice them..
Humans are PICKY when pg also.

Losing weight is not normal, and vomiting is a red flag.
Before changing diet I would, go to the Vet!
Personally I would not worm now.

thank u al for your kind help....she is jst eaing beef now with a boul of soup...but today she also had a little bit rice . i thing the vomiting was because of eatin grass....now i think she is being normal...please suggest me if giving only beef meat is enough for her...

TAKE THE DOG TO A VET. TAKE THE DOG'S TEMPERATURE. OVER 102.5 CELSIUS IS ABNORMAL.
If you cannot afford a vet, why do you have a pregnant dog (and yes, I know it might be an accidental breeding)?
