Well said Donnerstorm. I will only add that most do not understand the cost of breeding & raising healthy puppies. It is a very expensive undertaking. People think that dog A + bitch B = $$$. Nothing could be further from the truth, if you're doing it right. And people don't want to pay big $$$ for pups UNLESS you're providing health documents & warranties, & are able to provide proof of parents titles, etc.. And why should they? GSD pups are not hard to come by, just visit any shelter. Sad, but true. And you bear an obligation to make sure your puppies never wind up in a pound or shelter.
