I boycot China. I do not shop at stores like walmart that uses China cheap labors, bad materials.

The gsd thing and because they poison children and do not care about health standards in making the money and our nation is at risk of loss of finance and loss of people to inferrior products dealing with China.

I remember recieving literature on this many years ago at a shelter I was at. They like the German Shepherd coats because of it's colors. It showed undercover photo's of the "factory" and all the dogs waiting to be slaughtered. Some still had ID tags on thier collars making you wonder who these dogs were and how they landed up there. Very sickening. There was also a chain of super stores(won't mention the name) who were busted out for having dog fur around the hoods of parka's they were selling. They claimed they had no idea the coats were made with dog fur....but who knows.

it's not suprising: active trade in endangered animal, ie tigers, pandas etc. In china you can by even "dead parkaged mosquitoes. I'll try n mail it to the chinise embassy in my country and i encourage others to do same in their respective countries. This bad, unethical and economically stupid and unacceptible for the owner, manager and the staff of that shop.

Tuefel, I remember that too about the " fur collars" though since I am old and losing my memory I don't remember the store.  But seems it was a very well known store.
And Newbie I agree with everything you said.  The other night on CNN I watched a 2 hour show called " The New WalMart".  First it showed a WM in China and the CEO was a nice looking American guy who said when he was offered the opportunity to go there and open a store he was really excited because it was an untapped market.  Then it showed factories where people took in undercover cameras and talked to workers.  Some of those workers in a name brand shoe factory said when they were really busy they had to work 24/7 to make production. Also they had another guy--I think he was East Indian--who was a big whig who said that it wasn't true when the WM inspectors came to the factories everything was different then their usual work days. Our town just got a new supercenter about 3 years ago--in that time I have spent maybe 70 there.  I hate WM and only go there when I need something right now I can't get anywhere else.  I stick with the hometown grocery store and order most of my stuff online that I can wait on.
And OMG those poor poor dogs.  I hope whoever ate the meat choked on it because you know that's where it went.  They don't waste a thing and have always been known for eating dogs.  Supposedly the light colored chows were known to have the best and most tender meat.  Absolutely sickening..............
