Hi everyone.

Rev.3:10  Be cause thow has kept the word of my patience,I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon ALL THE WORLD,to try them that dwell upon the earth.
It is my opinion that hear we have a promise of future deliverance from the great tribulation  {Matt. 24:15-22 which yet faces the world when the wrath of God shall fall upon antichrist and the world that follows him.  So I believe that the true believers will all be rapture before the tribulation at end of the age of grace.

Now in Rev.13:7 it states    And it was given unto him {ANTICHRIST} to make war with the saints, and to overcome them:and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Now these two sciptures would certainly contredict each other,if there was no PRETRIB RAPTURE.

Gouda, how can the Anti Christ make war with us, if we are not here?

OOOOhhhh Good question Red Sable.

Let me explain.  During the Tribulation of 7 years, there will be people that come to find Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  In other words believers will exist during this time.  They will exist because they will learn the truth.  Yes, Jesus is still giving folks a chance, but they will suffer even be killed. Yet, they will have their salvation.

I am getting ready to post a copious thread with  layman understand of the Rapture and the Scriptures that support it.

Stand bye Red Sable thread of Prophecies part two on its way.

Hi  Red Sable.

This should explain it.

Rev.11:3  And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days clothed in sackcloth.

Rev. 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.  It is the Antchrist in fierce hatred that has the two witnesse of God killed, and then will the killing of believers begin that were saved by the testimony of the two witnesses.  These saved will have to endure to the end.

No offense, but even pastors disagree on this.  I've had more than one discussion on this topic with more than one pastor.  Some believe the rapture will occur before the tribulation and some believe all of us will have to endure the tribulation before the rapture.  The Bible simply does not make it clear which will happen first.  So, when pastors who have spent years in seminary school can't agree, then I don't know how any of us can claim to know which will come first.   I believe both will occur, but I don't get hung up on which one will come first.   Selfishly, I would like to believe that the rapture will occur first so we won't have to endure the tribulation.   Either way  we just need to be ready to meet our Creator each and every day.

GGTurner.

If you have time and interest, please look at what I wrote on the Key Prophecies  # 2, Understand the Rapture.  I am sorry it is a bit long but I wanted to cover as much information as I could.

ggturner....I agree....

That is why I posted the videos on the pre, post and amillennium positions of eschatology....Many Christians are only taught one and are never thoroughly exposed to the other positions....I encourage others to watch the videos......: )

ggturner:    I agree with you..Even in the Christian church, new testament one, not Disciples, our ministers for years have taken the stand you posted..There is a line there and we cannot know and maybe do not need to know precisely..written words translated from King James can be a little difficult but It is Gods words given us by the Holy Spirit so JUST BE READY...that is the main theme of all our witness...I am so afraid so many will not be ready and get caught between the Devil and the Deep Blue sea...I mean that Literally of course.!!

Hi Red Sable

And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from hence forth Yea,saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours;and their works do follow them.

This proclamation of the blessed who die is made in light of the troubles portrayed in chapters 11_13 It is made in light of the worlds worst and Great Tribulation {MATT.24:21}  Those who die for Christ during the final 3 1/2 years of tribulation, though they perish in great numbers, are blessed.

Red Sable why did it state from hence forth?
