with what and why?

With Drontal Plus from Bayer. Because I saw it in her stool that she has worms.

I worm my females and puppies 10 days after whelping and do it a series of every ten days untill the pups are gone. The pups get hooks and rounds from the mothers milk and there is nothing you can do. I do this with Nemex and you really notice a differnce in the  pups. The gestation period on hooks and rounds is around 10 days so I try to keep up on it.

Drontal Plus is NOT safe to use on pregnant and lactating females.

Nemex-2 should be fine.

Always ask your vet he or she is the best source for information

I wouldn't,
it's bad timing.
If the bitch had worms before you can't make up for it now.

I wait six weeks for pups and the bitch gets hers when she can be isolated in another kennel.
Then clean up the mess after.

I start worming pups at 3 weeks with Strongid.. doing it every 3 weeks....

You can do mom too but chances are you will see them again....
