lassie always makes for a good cry the paw up too shake hands at the end a real tear jerker that was the tv show all the movies were great i still watch them the mutant dog movie had some really scary looking shepherds i aways watch that on repete cant take my eyes off them

was the scary dog movie on scifi channel? lots of longcoats and some malis?on an island? if so, (hard to imagine too many mutant gsd movies out there), i saw it too and only watched cuz of the dogs. i forgot about lassie! shame on me.

Yes angusmom, that's the one. There were all kind of GSDs, LCs, dark sables, black. The didn't want the Rin Tin Tins. And I do believe there were a couple of Mals but mostly GSDs. I don't like movies where the dogs are the bad guys because it casts them all in a bad light. Some kid watches that movie and sees a dark sable and freaks. I think I saw it on Showtime.
