Your contribution to this thread is a nice treat to one's soul. Most important is to identify the (now) dogs with working ability and some fire within.

I see you are somewhat captivated by the information you may discover that others do not know or are not willing to share. Take time to rest. The real genetics are there for those that care to discover,,, there is time to rest.
I have Larus Batus' sister here and we are hoping you rest and relaxation until tomorrow when you persue the answers again, good night.

Randy,
I found some one who works in processing database to help me widen the pedigrees and make the mathmatical logic, but this can not be done mathmatics wise only as some dogs are repeated in the pedigrees to better the structure only, so I am gathering all info available on certain dogs here in the PDB, and thanks to many members, there is enough data on certain dogs to spot the work effect, Gustav and Preston (as well as others) contributed many important pieces of info here and there that will for sure lighten the paths of work blood passed to those Nominees, I only have to do extra effort.
So please give me sometime to finish this properly before you go on to discuss more recent dogs.

Ibrahim,
Like I said, the breed started with only a few dogs. When you go way back, many dogs are common, but it's too far back to breed to it today. As we see from the good ones, there are only one or two recently that rise to the top. The research should do just as you did and identify the most recent. From there we can look and see where it's going.
I think if you expand the pedigrees to include the mothers as well, you'll find more of the same. The gene pool that consistently produces work is pretty small.
