My understanding of Pepper is that he is a very high drive dog, but very open and happy as opposed to a more serious, civil type dog.

@ Apple did you work or decoy with Pepper? and what way this dog is civil ?, how he deal with serious pressure outside the sport field and unknown areas?

No, but last night I was talking with the wife of a guy who decoyed him at his new home in Alabama. I don't know if she was there and saw the dog being trained, but she said he was a very open, driven dog who just loves to work and please his handler. The impression I got was the dog had all day drive, but wasn't a nasty, super aggressive dog.
