Swarmendu, what are you implying, 'don't comment without knowing the dogs ? '

I owned, raised trained, handled and titled both Ajsa and Body.
Also, I said she had black dogs but not close up. I also mentioned that black is recessive. Furthermore, both Ajsa and Body had black pencil marks on their toes, indicating they both carried the black recessive...so black pups in that litter were not a surprise to me.

Save your sermons for those who need them...after all, you are the one who needed to see a 'pedigree of "at least one of those black pups"...indicating you thought there could be a difference in the littermate pedigrees by the same sire and dam.

Analogy, hundmutter, in an attempt to demonstrate that your 'odds' don't hold water in real life, only apply in books or on paper..
I have a current litter with 8 females, and only one male ( the very last pup born 24 hours after the first).

That's all, just an example, no 'switch'.

Joanro, you misunderstood, I shouldn't comment because I don't know the dogs, not YOU!

Why are you working line people always in aggressive mode!!

by Swarnendu on 13 January 2017 - 17:01

Joanro, I asked for "at least one pedigree" because only one pedigree was enough to find all the pups' ancestor. I was only curious to check where in the dam's pedigree a black dog shows up. You shouldn't predict another poster's thought process sitting in front of a computer, especially when you not a qualified mind-reader. That's my sermon to you.

Now, go back and read my post once again, maybe you'll be enlightened.

This is cut/paste off your post on page one...'Joanro, can you provide the pedigree of at least one of those three black pups?'

I said I'd put one of the black offspring from Ajsa and Body...here it is but for some reason, my dog, Body, pedigree comes up 'no information' ( Nemo is only one year old in the picture)

Thank you, bee.
I tried every combination, comes up 'no information'. Must be a problem with site. This has happened on a few other dogs when creating new pedigrees. Also, posting new, updated pictures on ped doesn't work.

by Swarnendu on 13 January 2017 - 18:01

Joanro, which part of that cut-paste differ with what I said in my last post?! Why are you trying to read between the lines?

by beetree on 13 January 2017 - 18:01

I think it has to be entered EXACTLY like the original entry which is:

Body Jipo-me .....compared to:

Body Jipo- Me

There is an extra space after the hyphen and a capital "M", too.

You have edit rights? Maybe you can fix it, otherwise get a mod to help you? Not sure what the picture issues are! I really wish this site would let us get back to the CK Editor .... out of the Demo mode!

@Swarmendu  ... Your wording might have made it seem like only someone with personal experience of the dogs in question should comment. Since Duke asked the board without making a qualifier, then you should feel free to give your opinion using the information provided. I think you are quite learned in the matter of color genetics, so I enjoy reading your posts, when you do.

I think I was a mind reader in a past life, not sure if those are acceptable qualifications! Wink Smile

(I at first thought Duke posting this was just to be cheeky— !)
