Hello,

I have just bred my female malinois this will be my second litter this year. You all probably remember what a night mare my first litter was with my German Shepherd Reign! I was just wondering when everyone switches their dogs to puppy food. Does anyone give any vitamins? How much do you exercise them? Does anyone continue protection work during pregnancy and stop at a certain point? Ada my female Mali is very high drive and it is going to be hard to keep her down. She is only 2 wks along so I'm still playing ball w/ her and letting her hang out in the back yard for some free time. :-) I am currently feeding her Nutri Source Grain Free Chicken.

I do not ever feed my bitches puppy food.

Liver, yougurt, raw meats, raw bones, raw eggs, and same food as they always, eat.with added to..

salmon,  sardines, and you just rotate the meats...three or four times a week

never vitamins...raw meats  have all the vit c you need, and bones have calcium.  fish has omegas, and last two weeks the vet recommends to feed a can of puppy food a day for extra CHOLINE..which is puppy canned food.

I then sprinkly dry powdered milk on dog food for calcium..no supplements..YOU may give some powdered supplements if you have  a dog that is skinny or health problems.

raw liver builds more milk the last two weeks..a dose of extra virgin olive oil every other day is super too.
