Well, doctor said no traveling for a while, so I'm stuck at home, and finally edited my photos my husband and I took of Beau.

Apart from a long "reach" what can be seen/said about Beau in these photos? These are the FIRST actionshots I have ever taken, and obviously Beau isn't just gaiting, he is full out CHARGING.

I am trying to learn here and want HONEST opions/thoughts/concerns. Seriously. Obviously non constructive critisism such as "He's ugly" isn't helpful, but at 6 months old, what can I learn about him/his conformation from these photos?

I've posted PLENTY of stacks of him, but these are some non-gaiting actionshots, so I figured they could give us a different perspective. Frankly, I think his landing looks "funny", but I also take into account he is 6 months old, and very gangly at this stage.

Yes, some of them were blurry, Nick and I were shooting in Burst to capture the shots, and obviously I had a moving target. Hahaha

I can't help with the conformation pics , but I don't think you have to worry about anybody saying he's ugly! He's a good looking boy!

Well aside from the fact that he is the ugliest dog I've ever seen.......I can't tell you too much :)  But I'm going to post some new pictures of Beau's much better looking brother (Auggie says so anyway) here in a little bit (different thread obviously). I actually think him and Auggie are close to the same height now.   Good pictures btw.

Looks like a typical 6mo old having fun.  Not sure that there is a correct way to consider movement when a pup is at a full out "charge".  I've never thought of observing to make sure it was a correct or incorrect landing.  Didn't know there was one.  I'm not trying to be sarcastic but being honest.  Guess what I am saying is, don't be so concerned with the way he takes off, lands or moves, UNLESS there is an issue that it appears he be in pain.

I do believe he is a really ugly dog, and you should place him as soon as you can.  I will give you my contact info so you can send him to us so we can take him off your hands. Surely you don't want to continue feeding such an ugly puppy as he is.  Please, let us help.

On a more serious note, STUNNING!!!  Enjoy him and good luck!!!

Thanks everyone, yes he is a TRUE Bi-Color. I do adore him, (rightly so, in my opinion) and I wasn't SURE that anything could be seen from the action shots, but as mentioned, I was concerned about his "landing"

Hahaha, ugly indeed, Hutchins, you make a most generous offer to take him off of my hands, but only if you promise to keep him away from your own dogs, so as they don't catch "the ugly"! I also appreciate your honesty!

Q-Man, here is the thread I made (most recent) with his newest stacks.

O
bviously the kid likes playing fetch, but I'm hoping I can find his "off switch" to try to trot him around the show ring, see if we can't get that UKC CH on him!

Thanks again everyone!

They are both very much still 'gangly puppies';  much as I adore Auggie,  I have to say I believe Beau's hind construction is a bit the best of the two of them.   Both sets of pix show they are dogs which are loved;  both show they like playing ball;  both say they seem very happy !  Thank you for sharing.

DDRczechfan,
GOOD LORD!!!!  He is still ugly as sin even in his stacked pics.  PLEASE PLEASE send him to us. I really can't understand why you would want to hold onto him when I have made the generous offer to take him off your hands.  I can only imagine what you must be going through having to look at him every day.  I truly want to spare you of that.

Eh, what can I say, he's a fugly little fellow!

Hundmutter, "loved" doesn't even begin to describe it, my world begins and ends with him. I've said it before, I'm sure I'll say it at least 1000x more, but I couldn't love a human child more than I love this pooch. He is the best thing that ever fell into my lap.

Okay, mom's done gushing, and it's 11pm so I'll take Beau and go to bed. As much as I miss Nick while he's over the road, I love that Beau can sleep in the bed with me, which Nick doesn't allow while he's home

Hutchins, you are truly a kind hearted individual to make such a generous offer. DDRCzechFan already knows how ugly I think her boy is, so I won't say it again. LOL

He looks like he has such a zest for life DDR! Keep enjoying him!
