Why does every thread with a certain few members always become personal? How many times do we have to say take personal issues to PM's?

Please no more!!! I do not want to close another thread because of a few members that can't have an interesting debate without getting at each other, but I will if this continues.

Any further personal remarks at each other and they will be deleted and that member can have a break from here.

Maybe it is because they are willing to have a few days of timeouts in order to make their snide personal remarks.

For Centurian: this is my female , RIP, who loved to retreive. So this was what we did for her 11 th birthday:-) I raised, trained and titled sch1, 2. Took some work to get her to release the dumbell. Solid female, high score in protection for trial for our sch2.

Hi Jo .... Thank you for sharing the video !! MUCH Appreciated , That looks like a very very very nice gs . I like her :-) . She seeems to enjoy her retrieving and perfroming , especially at her age. This is a tribute to you !! As I see a gs perform, two things I immeediately look for : not only how well / exact they perform but also the ATTITUDE expressed in performing . I feel that both of these are a reflection of the Temperament and the manner of Teaching . Super ... Jo . Again thanks for sharing .

@ moderators,....I apologize for my part of personal comments. No need to close the thread, it's time for me to take a vacation and hopefully that will lessen your problem😺

Gustav - you have been courteous, patient and a gentleman - no need to back away from the keyboard or make apology.

Gustav, defending oneself from being denigrated is not a crime, and no reason to recuse from discussions.

Gustav I do not include you in my comment, in fact I don't remember a time when you were ever rude or personal to another member.

As an outside observer, I think Gustav and Joan have been very, very patient with that other person who keeps on harping about IPO and sportdogs as if that's the be-all and end-all of working GSDs.

I would accord a lot more value to Gustav's or Joan's word, due to the experience they come with, which is certainly not restricted to the narrow IPO world. One need to realize that not many people with real working dogs, are interested in playing IPO routines, and in-fact IPO routines are detrimental in many cases, when it comes to being able to do real work.
