Soldier's family moved and didn't take him with them. 1 yr old boy. Obedience trained.
Was on the euth table today and gave his paw to the workers.
They couldn't do it and pulled him out and gave him till the 30th.
He us at the Lancaster Ca shelter. Impound 4498815. Save a life. Adopt a shelter dog!
I have NO space for another dog. Can't somebody help this pretty, sweet, trained, friendly dog.
His life was miraculously spared on the table once thanks to his personality. I
t will not happen twice.

i would really like to adopt a dog especially those whose about euthanized but the problem is im in the Philippines :(( instead of breeding i would rather keep them.. the problem is most likely no one will actually ship them over here :((

I could make a trip to Lancaster to pull him after I drop off Barli on the 29th in Bakersfield...but I'm not in a position to house him , if we could pull together some donations I do know of some lower cost boarding facilities?  Maybe somehow put together a transport to NC? I don't know, that is heartbreaking!  I will pass along his info/story to the So. CA rescues as well.  Maybe somebody has room?  Has anybody passed this info along to Facebook yet?

Last time I flew a dog via continental it was around $375 (#500 crate plus dog was barely under their weight limit for the next monetary bracket. Think it was 96lbs?)
I can't stand the thought of this poor boy being PTS... how sad. He has such a sweet face.

Could someone post this to pilots n paws and see it through? I have the monster storm headed my way and I live on the water. The Perfect Storm (the movie with George Clooney) took out my entire yard last time- the sea just swallowed it up, bulkheading, pool, dock, fences and all. Nothing was covered by insurance :(  The water came right up to my back door. This storm will hit with the full moon and is supposed to be worse than the Perfect Storm- that was only 2 storms meeting- this one is 3 storms meeting up :( I have to batten down the hatches and will be very busy the next few days. Have to figure out what I am going to do with my 3-4 ft koi- the pond is an inground pond and the fish weigh at least 30 pounds each. If the sea comes up, they will die :(

We've already been warned that DH is going to be activated to the coast... don't know exactly how it will effect us.
If we can get all of the volunteers that can help along the flight path come forward, I will work on posting in paws for pets
website. The average pilot can only fly a small leg of the trip due to fuel constraints (itty bitty plane, itty bitty fuel tank). Some
can fly a bit longer (up to 500 miles) in a larger private plane.
Ground volunteers will be tasked with possibly holding for a night or two and getting the pup to the next airport, if it is not the
same one he came into. I cannot even begin to arrange flights unless there are people along the way to hold him should a
pilot be delayed or encounter bad weather.
